virtual floors for safe high level access

At Cablenet, we have been involved in many major theatre projects in the UK, from RADA and the new Hampstead Theatre, London to the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Among the projects currently underway is one of the largest new performance facilities in Britain, the Wales Millennium Centre.

Cablenet installation

The success of the virtual floor® concept has resulted in more and more theatre consultants becoming aware of the uses and benefits of the tensioned wire grid. And as a result, Cablenet high level platforms are now being specified for public performance buildings on mainland Europe too. One of the most prestigious new buildings of this type currently under construction anywhere in Europe is Denmark’s first purpose-built opera house, and this will use Cablenet tension wire grids in the studio theatre.
